The ERP Project Technical Lead is an integral member of the project team. This person must have a robust set of skills. The technical lead may be involved in the technical development of some RICEW objects but is primarily responsible for management of the technical development team.
Key Technical Project Management and Leadership Skills
- Ability to understand overall scope of the project understanding where technical items fit into the broader picture
- Manages technical scope of project, identifying, documenting, and providing direction on potential scope issues as they occur
- Provides technical estimates on new scope items that occur within the project
- Owns technical resource onboarding, providing direction and guidance for project processes and resources
- Effectively collaborates with functional leads and PMO on technical status, resource allocation, requirements gathering, and unit and system testing of development objects
- Ability to prioritize and delegate/distribute work effectively
- Ability to QA Technical work, enforcing project development standards
- Facilitates knowledge transfer to client on turn-over of technical objects to client resources
Key Business Analyst Skills
- Ability to understand business processes behind the requirements of the RICE Objects
- Ability to translate/communicate the business requirements to technical developers
- Strong organization and communication skills as the tech lead will be responsible for managing technical design workshops, communicating status, and documenting RICEW objects
- Ability to document conversion and integration data flow and design standards based upon best practices
- Must have the ability to research and understand new technology / tools quickly in order to present them as part of a high level solution during design phase
- Familiarity with Dev/Ops practices

- Experience using and/or strong understanding of the following tools or functions

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- BI Publisher Report Development
- OTBI Report Development
- Ability to Develop Page Personalizations using Page Composer

The Tech lead should have a good understanding of at least some of the basic business processes within oracle ERP and/or SCM. This could include the following.

Understanding of common integrations
- Outbound AP Payments
- Inbound AP Invoices

Oracle Cloud Security
The tech lead should have an understanding of the security architecture in oracle Cloud.
- Understanding of how roles impact access
- Data Access associated with roles
- Ability to research and work with the functional team to create custom roles per client requirements
Work location is flexible if approved by the Company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado or in New York City
