Manager, Technology wanted by Crowley Maritime Corporation, Jacksonville, FL.
• Oversee and manage the Company's information technology (IT) logistics integrations which include coordination of projects from design, development, installation and support; and function as a liaison between business partners, application owners, vendors and consultants.
• Establish Integration standards, policies and best practices, coding guidelines; implements and recommends actions to improve delivery and execution.
• Develop and manage budget, staff, and deliverables for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Plans and manages projects, develops technical designs, and assures that all necessary steps are taken to meet project goals and milestones.
• DEFINE AND DESIGN BUSINESS SYSTEMS USING LEADING TECHNOLOGIES: Translate business vision and strategy; Work with business group, engineering product delivery teams, process compliance, cloud infrastructure and IT functions to drive architectural principles, design and development to provide thought leadership that enables digital transformational changes in the organization; Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive technical architecture and implementations; and Oversee and facilitate evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards.
• TECHNICAL DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION AND PROJECT EXECUTION: Oversee technology solution implementation including architecture, design and development on internal and external initiatives, including the technical work of a team comprising of Solution Architects & Developers; Define and drive code design and architecture, data structures and integration patterns; Manage and code key complex pieces of the application; Oversee technology implementation and delivery; and Translate, advocate, and augment the principles of business and IT and more specially enterprise architecture (EA) strategies.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:
5 years of experience in technologies supporting Logistics including Land Transportation (Commercial and Operational), Terminals, and Ocean; specifically including application integration via API and EDI, and solution design and development experience in this logistics space;
5 years of experience in Integration Solutions technologies and working with Mulesoft;
5 years of experience in working Integration Architecture involving Microservices and API frameworks based on REST, SOAP, EDI-X12 and flat-file based integrations;
3 years of experience integrating any one or a combination of the following systems: TMW, Inform, Infyz, Salesforce Clouds; and
3 years of experience in API Data modeling, API design, API Management and API Security frameworks with Enterprise Integration platforms.
