Location: Chennai
- Works with Finance Director to add value to the Accounting and Finance processes by furthering the advancement of various aspects of Income Tax related functions including Transfer Pricing.
- Ensures all tax projects and initiatives are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Incubent leads and manages Internal Control & Compliance Department and takes charge in all of internal control and compliance related tasks across the company.
- The position is required to ensure the company is fully compliant with all statutory, legal provision as per law of land and full compliant as per Kemin Global Code of Conduct.
- Work Environment: City Office
- Travel to Department on need basis.
- Responsible for preparation, review and timely filing of all Income Tax returns, Transfer Pricing documentation and filings and TDS/TCS returns in compliance with applicable laws.
- Responsible for reviewing financial records and accurately determining annual tax / advance tax
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and collaborate with outside tax firms to address inquiries from Tax Authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and external advisors to address tax-related matters.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of local tax laws, regulations, rulings, and case law
- Monitor local tax legislative changes and assess their impact on local region's operations, transactions, and tax positions.
- Prepare/review tax provisions, Reconcile tax accounts, Support financial statement preparation Work with outside tax firm to complete regional transfer pricing reports.
- Actively engage with various audits to ensure consideration and resolution of all relevant risks and audit findings.
- CA with 5 + years of work experience in MNC / Big 4 Audit firm
