About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven professional who is interested in growing within the Company's Tax and Finance organization. This highly visible role is a key member of the US Income Tax team and has primary responsibility for domestic tax reporting and planning. The individual will partner closely with the broader Corporate Tax team, external advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the Company's U.S. income tax compliance, reporting, and strategic tax initiatives.

 

This position offers significant opportunities to collaborate across the broader Finance and Tax organization while gaining exposure to a wide range of tax matters and business activities. We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated track record of collaboration, inclusive leadership, and talent development. As a team leader, this individual will partner with cross-functional tax teams, demonstrating effective communication to drive alignment and successful execution of departmental priorities.

 

This role also provides a unique opportunity to participate in acquisitions, integrations, tax planning projects, and other strategic initiatives, offering broad exposure to the Company's business operations and long-term growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key aspects of the U.S. income tax reporting and tax provision processes and serve as a primary liaison with external tax service providers.
  • Collaborate with other US Income Tax team leaders to coordinate the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments as well as deliver inputs required to assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual ASC 740 calculations and effective tax rate analyses for the Company's U.S. operations as part of the financial reporting and close processes.
  • Communicate emerging tax legislation and regulatory developments impacting the Company to assess implications and identify opportunities for reporting enhancements that drive current and future tax savings, improve cash flow, and strengthen tax control frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners, external advisors, and other stakeholders serving as the primary point of contact to facilitate effective project execution and proactively address business and regulatory changes, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and tax law developments.
  • Promote an environment that values meaningful innovation by identifying and implementing process enhancements across tax and financial reporting functions.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives within the Tax function by leveraging automation, data analytics, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies to enhance tax reporting, compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and support team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback to foster professional development and organizational growth.
  • Prepare, maintain, and enhance auditable workpapers and supporting documentation to support financial statement audits, IRS examinations, and internal SOX compliance reviews.
  • Execute assignments and related responsibilities with a high degree of organization, accountability, and attention to detail through effective project planning, prioritization, and resource management.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax environment.
  • Advanced/intermediate knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax matters and the ability to evaluate and apply new tax legislation and regulatory developments, including provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and subsequent tax reform initiatives (OBBBA).
  • Significant experience with ASC 740 and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including tax provision preparation and effective tax rate analysis.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, and legal entity restructurings from a U.S. income tax reporting perspective.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to support tax research, data analysis, process improvements, and reporting activities.
  • Experience with tax and financial reporting systems such as CorpTax, ONESOURCE, SAP, Oracle EPM/HFM, or similar platforms is preferred.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
