Successful supply chain management is a cornerstone of Denali’s strategy. The Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for the day-to-day execution of global logistics activities to ensure timely, compliant, and reliable delivery of clinical and commercial supply. This role will serve as the point of contact for logistics operations, coordinating global distribution, shipment execution, and vendor activities across freight forwarders and distribution partners. The individual actively manages shipment planning, tracking, and issue resolution. In addition, this role supports key execution activities including contract coordination, labeling and packaging oversight, and enabling product release and distribution. As Denali’s supply chain processes continue to evolve, this role will contribute to process definition and continuous improvement based on hands-on operational experience.

Key Accountabilities/ Core Job Responsibilities:

Logistics (80%)

  • Execute day-to-day global logistics activities to support clinical and commercial, including shipment booking, tracking, and issue resolution

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Logistics with internal stakeholders (i.e. CMC Program Directors, Planners, QA)

  • Coordinate directly with vendors (i.e. freight forwarder, CMOs) to ensure timely and compliant shipment execution

Execution (20%)

  • Serve as Supply Chain Execution point of contact with internal stakeholders (i.e. GMP QA, Clinical Operations)

  • Facilitate execution activities (i.e. contracts, product set up, labeling, packaging, distribution, inventory management)

  • Facilitate QP Certification issuance and tracking

  • Document and execute IRT transactions required to facilitate the release and distribution of product through the clinical supply chain

  • Represent Supply Chain Execution in cross-functional initiatives, contributing to project planning, timelines, and risk mitigation

  • Communicate status of supply execution activities both verbally and through written documents and reports

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Engineering/Operations/Supply Chain or related field and 8+ years of work experience to include 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing in the Life Sciences. 

  • Experience in coordinating with external partners (i.e. depots, CMOs, freight forwarders) is preferred

  • Experience supporting operational execution (i.e. order fulfillment, shipment coordination, inventory management, or production support)

  • Experience working on cross functional projects and supporting business process definition and improvements 

  • Working knowledge of cGMP and regulations applicable to the FDA and comparable international regulatory agencies.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute accurately, meet timelines, and handle multiple priorities

  • Capable of responding flexibly to changing prioritization in a dynamic environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive “can do” and collaborative manner

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary Range: $135,000.00 to $175,000.00 .  Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
