The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Supplier Management Manager (Level K) position within our organization supporting the Services and Transactional Proposal Support team. The selected candidate will be located in St. Louis, MO.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: St. Louis, MO.
Position Responsibilities:

Oversight and coordination of transactional Spares proposal requests (via ACQ/IMIM) as well as Services procurement for all BGS-G demands and customers.

Provide subcontract support, supplier delivery performance and support for all program objectives.

Manage a team located across several core locations

Oversee aspects of the requirements planning and subcontract management processes including supplier development, subcontracting strategies and affordability.

The identification and implementation of continuous improvement processes is also expected.

Position and team will support procurement teams with supplier performance management, and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
-
Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
-
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
-
Demonstrated leadership attributes.
-
Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures.

Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts.

Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills are required.

Occasional travel to other Boeing sites, Customer and suppliers (<10%).
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
-
3+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices including Base Line Management, Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management, Performance Metrics, Customer Communications, Requirements Management, Supplier Management, and/or Earned Value Management

5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

5+ years of leadership experience (team lead/project manager/manager)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills

Solid business acumen, teaming, and excellent stakeholder communication and empathy

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Relocation:
