About The Role
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for creating sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories in support of Human Resources (benefits, training, recruiting, relocation and other related services) and Professional Services: Consulting, Finance, and Legal. The Manager, Strategic Sourcing will also identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with stakeholders. This role will report into the Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing. 

This is a hybrid role that requires part-time work on-site
What You’ll Do
• Develop, implement and refine global sourcing strategies that result in enhanced value, revenue, breakthrough total-cost reduction and continuous improvement for spend in assigned categories
• Proactively engage with business leaders and internal stakeholders to understand, create alignment and help achieve their business strategies and objectives.
• Conduct and interpret market-intelligence information.
• Perform industry, supply market and supply chain research/analytics.
• Uncover trends and best practices in category sourcing and outsourcing.
• Share knowledge, insight and advice in a way that contributes to long-term business strategies.
• Identify demand management opportunities and incorporate into appropriate strategies.
• Incorporate strategic sourcing methodology and tools that drive continuous improvement and optimize quality, cost, customer focus, innovation and relationship development within assigned categories.
• Develop Requests for Proposal, Quotes, and Information as required for each sourcing initiative and drive the proposal review and Supplier selection/award processes with the internal Stakeholders
• Build strong, enduring relationships with stakeholder groups, and act as key escalation point for internal customers and cross-functional partners.
• Develop analytical presentations in support of Procurement recommendations to meet internal stakeholder requirements and company financial goals.
• Identify, drive and sponsor continuous improvement projects to build scalable capabilities and improve the efficiency of existing processes.

Qualifications

Who You Are
You are a procurement professional with experience in Professional Services and Human Resources categories. You enjoy collaborating with diverse subject-matter experts to develop process improvements and create category strategies. 
• Minimum of 5+ years of procurement experience including strategic sourcing, negotiations and category management 
• Experienced negotiator with working knowledge of terms and conditions, redlining, and working with Legal team to mitigate risk and ensure best value terms for the company
• Strong analytical skills which provide insights and formulate recommendations using data driven solutions.
• Ability to effectively collaborate, build relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the given audience. Can present information in a clear and concise manner
• Project management skills with ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change and resolve conflict 
Education

• Undergraduate degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
