LSEG is undertaking an ambitious programme to digitise our enterprise Global Business Services on the ServiceNow platform.  We are transforming our existing ServiceNow product families (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ITBM) and internally developed platform applications, and digitising other enterprise workflows onto the Enterprise Service Management Platform (ServiceNow).

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Platform (ServiceNow), the Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer plays a critical role in in configuring and maintaining the ServiceNow ITOM capabilities while ensuring alignment with business requirement Is and providing ongoing support and enhancements.

The role is responsible for delivering outstanding value and experiences to our colleagues and customers through excellence in ServiceNow ITOM implementation and management and is pivotal in supporting our vision for a fully digitised London Stock Exchange Group.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow ITOM Senior Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, specifically within IT Operations Management (ITOM), and a consistent record of developing and implementing complex ITOM solutions. This role involves extensive collaboration with business partners, IT teams, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational excellence!!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Cloud Management!

Develop custom ServiceNow applications and modules to meet specific business needs.

Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.

Conduct code reviews, ensure consistency to coding standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Present technical solutions to collaborators and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems and third-party tools to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Develop and maintain integration points using ServiceNow APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.

Monitor the health and performance of ITOM solutions and proactively address any issues.

Provide Level 3 support for ITOM-related incidents and problems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry trends.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the ITOM framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on ITOM modules.

Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.

Deep understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow APIs.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to solve complex technical issues.

Superb communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITOM) certification and Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including integration with ServiceNow.

Knowledge of additional scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira
