The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning plays a pivotal role in leading global material planning and execution, ensuring that the following objectives are met: maintaining an accurate and compliant supply of materials, delivering them to manufacturing sites as needed and optimizing cash flow. This role provides an end-to-end perspective on materials management, requiring close collaboration with site materials planners, procurement and finance teams.

The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning will be responsible for the following:

Batch Readiness: Oversee the Global Supply Chain Planners to ensure that the materials needed to produce batches are ready on time.

Supporting the daily activities of the planners, support any escalations and follow the progress to secure batch readiness.

Build and mature the CPFR (Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment) process with our vendors in collaboration with Global Procurement and with our clients in collaboration with our PMO organization.

Establish the cadence of the CPFR reviews and ensure the necessary content is covered.

Ensure MRP Parameters are maintained such as Lead Times, ABC Classification.

Ensure that all Planners under their supervision are maintaining accurate parameters in the system.

Support the SAP implementation and ongoing maturity.

Proactively identify supply risks and draft contingency plans.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Masters’ Degree in the field of Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the fields of Supply Planning and CPFR.

  • Experience in managing a team.

  • Strong Power Bi experience and data analytics

  • SAP experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete tasks on time.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and your internal customers.

  • Basic computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Language Ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal as well as written, to include listening. Ability to clearly articulate business priorities to all company employees when and if required.

Reasoning Ability

Excellent analytical skills in support of problem solving / troubleshooting.

Math Ability

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Physical Demands

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Computer Skills

Contact Management, Database software, E-mail, Internet software, Inventory, Manufacturing software, Order processing, Spreadsheets, Word processing.

Equipment Use

Computer, telephone, copy and fax machines.
