About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the continued transformation of HARMAN Automotive into a leading tech player in software. We are seeking an experienced leader to drive the development and rollout of our partnership initiative within the Automotive Software business. You will build and lead a Partnership team, dedicated to ensuring the growth of Software Product Sales within this dynamic sector. You are an inspiring leader for our global team and your peers, who exhibits the business acumen to enable new and rapid growth in a partnership environment
 

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to support our transformation and growth through new and value add Partnerships
  • Lead new Partner identification & onboarding, ensuring our focus remains on complementary, collaborative and results oriented partners that are tightly aligned with Software Products strategic goals
  • Drive the development of partnership value propositions and facilitate & support the creation and integration of Harman and Partner products and services. Develop processes and links to facilitate training and communications in support of Partner propositions
  • Oversee and support the development of Partner driven Go To Market initiatives, sales and delivery plans. Collaborate with Harman peers and functional groups to support and drive Partner sales & delivery activities. Ensure an absolute focus on customer satisfaction to drive new customer acquisition and retention
  • Drive and support the development of new relationships with key customers and advocate for their needs identified with Partners. Gather and maintain information on industry trends and challenges, along with competitive moves and share insights to drive product and partnership positioning, along with process improvements
  • Establish goals and revenue targets for our Partners. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Partners and our Partner team. Utilize data and analytics to drive efficiencies, partner satisfaction, and to identify growth opportunities
  • Implement best practices in Partner onboarding and management and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer & partner experiences and outcomes, whilst ensuring optimized Partner processes

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
  • Proven leadership experience for five to ten years in a Partnering or Alliance role, preferably within the automotive software industry. Additional experience in a direct Sales role will be beneficial
  • Ten years of industry-related experience (with automotive OEMs, T1 or Major Tech player)
  • Deep understanding of automotive industry technology and trends
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels, teams and geographies.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 50%, domestic and international travel
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Work in Novi, Michigan office (Hybrid)

Salary Ranges:

$ 120,750 - $ 177,100
