Skills Required
- Matric certificate (or equivalent)
- NQF Level 5 Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance
- Completed RE5 regulatory exam
- Proof of registration and compliance with FSCA
- Strong leadership and people development capability
- Technical knowledge of short term claims processes, specifically Home Owners Cover (HoC)
- Expertise in Third-Party Administrator (TPA) management and oversight
- Process design, SLA management and SOP implementation
- Analytical and reporting capability (loss ratios, complaints, claims trends)
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and ability to handle escalated customer issues
- Adaptability, resilience and attention to detail
