Manager Business Development, Mastercard Services (Hungarian speaking) Services is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. As a member of our Services Business Development team, you will be on the frontlines-building excitement and generating demand for Mastercard's differentiated Services portfolio-while partnering closely with solution experts to deliver meaningful client outcomes. As a Manager, Services Business Development, you will support business development and sales activities across Mastercard Services, working with a broad client base that includes financial institutions, merchants, and government entities across Hungary and Slovenia.
About the Role • Together with existing team, you will help shape Mastercard Services growth strategy in Hungary and Slovenia and execute against that strategy • Support identification and development of new sales opportunities with Financial Institutions, Merchants and Government entities • Identification of client's pain points, root causes and potential solutions leveraging a consultative selling approach • Understanding of client's organizational systems and taking a considered approach to problem solving for the client's unique situation #• Supporting the local market lead throughout the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to writing well-structured and persuasive proposals to demonstrations and commercial contract execution • Collaborate with Mastercard account managers and clients to identify new business opportunities, while communicating opportunity areas, ensuring stakeholder alignment and managing dependencies • Building effective working relationships across all levels in the client organization, as well as internally • Partnering with project team to ensure project quality and identification of follow-up sales opportunities
All About You • Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm desired, as is payments/banking expertise and/or experience with financial institutions • Experience working within the Hungarian payment and Financial Services industry • Entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, self-starter and strong commercial sense • Excellent client management & stakeholder management skills • Ability to multi-task independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to work on a team, as well as driving processes independently • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • High Attention to detail and ability to deliver client ready documents with limited guidance • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills • Ability to work in an AI supported environment and leverage AI tools for research, process optimization and Lead generation • Undergraduate degree required, Masters, MBA or relevant post graduate degree recommended • Languages: Hungarian and strong English skills required.
