Are you a "numbers person" with an accounting or finance background? Are you organized, motivated and detailed? If you are, we would love to hear from you! Our Corporate Finance Division is recruiting for an Accounting Coordinator to join our successful team. In this position, you will be responsible for Octagon’s Client and Corporate Accounts Receivable with the timely and accurate recording of incoming client income and corporate invoices.  In addition, you will work on our pass-through invoicing and reconciliation, and assist with Accounts Payable areas.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Update client cash log and QuickBooks daily with incoming receipts
• Vendor set up for clients
• Set up corporate jobs in SAP
• Process select corporate invoicing in SAP - this includes weekly, monthly, and quarterly batches.
• Invoice corporate pass-through costs to third parties
• Maintain pass-through reconciliation
• Assist with corporate purchase orders
• Assist with employee expense report processing and support
• Assist with periodic research, and other unscheduled projects
• Other reasonably related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years related experience, Bachelor’s degree a plus;
• Intermediate Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required
• Experience with accounting software systems preferred;  Quickbooks / SAP system experience a plus
• Recognize the importance of accuracy
• Display high level of initiative, motivation and ability to achieve desired results
• Diligent, detailed, organized, with strong communication skills
