How you will make contributions that matter:

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for ensuring operational excellence? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where reliability is key to success? If so, we invite you to bring your leadership and management skills to drive transformative change as part of our senior leadership team to our Allansford site – 15 minutes from Warrnambool on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria -where you can explore beaches and all that is on offer. We will assist you with a Relocation package for this role.

About the Role:

As a hands-on Reliability Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations. You will lead a dedicated team, implementing strategies that enhance reliability and efficiency, ultimately contributing to our success. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Create robust reliability strategies to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
  • Lead and Inspire: Coach and motivate your team to embrace operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Initiate projects aimed at reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance practices, and enhancing overall plant reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline, or relevant trade qualifications.
  • Experience: Ideally, 10 years of proven experience in the FMCG industry and/or manufacturing sites.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reliability engineering principles, including root cause analysis, predictive maintenance, and asset management.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across all organizational levels.
