Job Summary
We are looking for a Manager to join our Jersey SPV Services team, supporting the administration of real estate structures for joint ventures, funds, and long-term asset holding vehicles. You will manage a portfolio of clients with complex structures and high-value underlying assets across sectors such as office, retail, industrial, hospitality, residential, and development. This role combines technical oversight, client relationship leadership, and people management to deliver high-quality fiduciary and corporate administration services. You will also contribute to operational improvements and the team's growth objectives in the Jersey market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Jersey real estate clients, ensuring consistent delivery of corporate/fiduciary administration services aligned to internal standards and service levels
- Lead and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key stakeholders through proactive, clear, and timely communication
- Oversee statutory and governance deliverables, including the preparation/review of returns, approvals, resolutions, and accurate recordkeeping
- Chair or support client meetings; produce/review agendas, minutes, resolutions, and associated administration within agreed timeframes
- Act as a technical reference point within the team (real estate structures, corporate governance, and Jersey regulatory expectations), sharing knowledge and coaching colleagues
- Support the Associate Director/Director with team leadership activities including mentoring, performance support, resourcing, onboarding, training, and adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage workflow planning and prioritisation across the team; monitor progress and escalate risks or capacity issues to senior management as needed
- Partner with colleagues on client take-on and ongoing reviews, ensuring due diligence and periodic review requirements are completed accurately and on time
- Contribute to financial management of the portfolio/team, including time recording quality, WIP awareness, fee quotes, and supporting billing processes
- Support business development by identifying opportunities within existing relationships and contributing to agreed annual new-income targets
Required Qualification
- ICSA/STEP/ACCA qualification (or equivalent relevant professional qualification)
- Proven experience in fiduciary, corporate, or real estate administration, including managing complex structures and client portfolios
- Strong working knowledge of corporate governance and statutory obligations in a Jersey/Channel Islands environment
- Demonstrated people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate colleagues at different levels
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging with demanding clients and intermediaries
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess options and recommend practical, compliant solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering Jersey real estate funds, SPVs, joint venture structures, or multi-entity groups holding real estate assets
- Familiarity with Jersey regulatory expectations and industry best practices for client due diligence and ongoing monitoring
- Experience supporting commercial aspects of client management (fee quotes, budgeting inputs, billing cycles, and service improvements)
