Location: Long Beach, CA (Various Unanticipated Worksites)
Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA Automation Engineers & QA analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their professional growth and optimal performance. Define and establish testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective software testing processes. Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements. Drive the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to improve test efficiency and coverage. Oversee the execution of automated and manual test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accurate defect reporting. Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide insights and recommendations to improve software quality and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of automated testing into the software development lifecycle. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure alignment of testing efforts and methodologies across the organization. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to software testing and quality assurance. Provide regular reports and updates on testing progress, test coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders and senior management. Position will manage seven (7) QA Analyst/Engineers. Position will be headquartered in Long Beach, CA but is a telecommuting position, allowing for remote employment from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
Educ./experience: Four (4) years of experience as a QA Engineer, Business Development Manager, or in a related position. Experience must include automated testing and test management, Software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and tools Selenium and Appium; Programming languages Javascript, Python, and experience in developing automated tests and test scripts; Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools Jenkins. Position will be headquartered in Long Beach, CA but is a telecommuting position, allowing for remote employment from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
