Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages major construction projects and ensures compliance with governmental codes and specifications.
- Collaborates with leadership and key business stakeholders to manage projects from initial development through construction, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely execution.
- Ensures teams adhere to standards and processes to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Contributes to the definition of the organization structure and roles within the major projects group, identifying capability gaps.
- Negotiates, drafts, and manages contracts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards.
- Develops and reviews project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scope of work, standards and quotes from suppliers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience
- Required: Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to drive performance consistency across project teams.
- Ability to lead teams delivering complex, high-risk projects.
- Ability to manage cross-project dependencies and systemic risks.
- In-depth knowledge of major construction project management frameworks.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial accountability.
- Skill in aligning project outcomes with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Skill in influencing peers and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Skills Required

- Eight years of related experience
