About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead all assembly operations at our Pécs site. The ideal candidate will excel in driving manufacturing performance through labor efficiency improvement, scrap reduction, process yield enhancement, and stringent customer-quality focus. This role ensures safe, timely, and error-free production delivery by overseeing end-to-end shop-floor activities and coordinating closely with supporting functions. The Production Manager acts as a key partner to the Plant Manager, champions corrective actions to meet quality and cost targets, and upholds a strict priority framework of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in all decision-making.
What You Will Do
Provides direct leadership for all functions related to assembly operations at the Pécs site.
Accountable for all controllable elements of COGM (Cost of Goods Manufactured), including direct labor efficiency, scrap reduction, production/process yield improvement, and customer quality.
Reports to the Plant Manager on daily operational matters.
Provides regular updates to project managers for production-related, dedicated projects.
Maintains close cooperation with all production-related colleagues on site, offering support, guidance, and clear communication.
Conducts annual performance evaluations for all direct-report supervisors.
In exceptional situations, determines actions and priorities based on the following hierarchy:
1. Safety 2. Quality 3. Delivery 4. CostDrives corrective actions to ensure achievement of plant quality objectives and maintains thorough knowledge of special/critical characteristics within the manufacturing process.
Responsible for ensuring on-time, error-free deliveries that fully meet all customer requirements—through effective management of production processes, production staff, and collaboration with supporting functions.
Has the authority to initiate production shutdowns when safety or quality conditions justify such action.
What You Need to Be Successful
Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Economics (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in areas such as customer relations, production management, technician and/or engineering team leadership.
Proficiency in English.
High-level proficiency in software applications such as Excel and Word.
SAP knowledge.
Strong leadership skills.
Working-level English communication skills (considered an advantage).
Strong technical attitude.

Experience in electronics manufacturing
Experience in Digital Factory implementation
