We are seeking an experienced Operations Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations team. This role manages the end-to-end procurement process — from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) issuance, through to delivery — while working in close collaboration with the Strategic Procurement team and Category Managers. The manager ensures operational excellence, resolves supplier-related issues, and supports the execution of broader sourcing strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement buyers
- Drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team
- Align operational priorities with strategic procurement objectives
- Oversee the full procurement cycle: PR to PO creation and issuance, supplier coordination, and delivery tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor procurement KPIs and implement process improvements in partnership with category managers
- Work closely with the Strategic Procurement team and Category Managers to ensure operational procurement activities support category strategies
- Partner with category managers to monitor supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions
- Maintain strong supplier communication to ensure compliance with agreed terms and proactively address risks
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with finance, logistics, and quality teams to resolve supplier-related issues
- Act as escalation point for payment disputes, delivery holds, and quality concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems promptly
- Ensure supplier issues are addressed in alignment with strategic sourcing goals
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency
- Implement best practices in procurement operations and supplier management
- Support strategic initiatives by providing operational insights and driving supplier performance improvements
