What you will do

This role will support digital transformation within the procurement function by managing technology initiatives, ensuring data governance, and collaborating across functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, tech-savvy manager with a strong foundation in procurement processes, supplier management, and emerging technology. 
 

With a portfolio of brands like Tylenol®, Neutrogena®, JOHNSON’s®, and Listerine®, this position will help drive operational efficiency and technological innovation in procurement. 
 

Position Overview 

The Manager Procurement Digital Transformation is responsible for leading and implementing strategic digital initiatives within the procurement function. This role demands an in-depth understanding of the procurement technology landscape, including platforms such as SAP, Coupa, and other best-of-breed solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in project and stakeholder management, effectively driving the digital strategy while fostering innovation across the procurement organization Additionally, a familiarity with Procurement data assets, data management principles and key analytics needs for procurement will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Digital Technology Management: Spearhead the implementation and optimization of procurement technology solutions, including ERP, e-sourcing, and supplier management systems, to enhance operational efficiency and drive process improvements. 

  • Data Integrity & Governance: Ensure data governance standards are met within procurement systems, focusing on data quality, accuracy, and compliance. 

  • Operational Process Improvement: Support operational excellence by optimizing procurement processes, including category management, spend analysis, and supplier performance monitoring. 

  • Project Management: Lead digital transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and adherence to budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage resources and deliver results. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across procurement, IT, and finance to ensure alignment on digital initiatives. Act as a key liaison to bridge technical solutions with procurement needs. 

  • Innovation & Capability Development: Identify and evaluate innovative digital capabilities like Agentic AI, conducting proof-of-value (POV) pilots to assess their impact and scalability within the organization. 

  • Team Development & Mentorship: Guide and develop team members in the effective use of procurement technologies and data insights, fostering an environment of learning and innovation. 

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about digital trends in procurement, such as AI and machine learning, and identify opportunities for improvement or new implementations. 

Key Experiences: 

  • Strong experience in **procurement** with a focus on **digital transformation** and technical skills. 

  • Deep understanding of **procurement technology platforms** like ERP, e-sourcing, and supplier relationship management systems. 

  • Good understanding of Integration for end to end in procurement landscape and would have led the implementation for integration scenarios 

  • Good Knowledge of innovations such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), and advanced data analytics, with a focus on their application in procurement. 

  • Experience in **data management** and governance, especially in ensuring data integrity across platforms is desirable. 

  • Proven project management skills, demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with a track record of successful delivery. 

  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, with a focus on digital transformation and technology projects. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science**, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 

  • Proficiency in **ERP systems** (e.g., SAP), e-sourcing platforms, and data analysis tools. 

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus. 

  • Fluent in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
