Manager, Private Clients
Location: Guernsey

36.25 hours per week
The position
The Manager, Private Clients will manage a portfolio of fiduciary structures in accordance with the relevant Client Services Agreements and the various laws and regulations pertaining to the Group's Guernsey regulatory licences.
The Key Responsibilities for the role are noted below and as a Senior Manager or Associate Director you will also be expected to undertake any such duties that are deemed a reasonable requirement, for example, deputising for the Manager in their absence, participating in projects that are related to the role. In addition, you should act as an Ambassador for CSC Guernsey.
Your responsibilities

  • Manage and administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures to a high technical standard ensuring all administration procedures are adhered to;
  • Support the team lead in all aspects of team management; Provide management and control of an administration team to ensure all administration procedures are adhered to and day to day activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Liaise with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and banks on all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures;
  • Develop and implement a client communication plan ensuring regular and appropriate contact, to include meetings, with all allocated clients;
  • Lead projects as requested by the business and ensure these are completed accurately within the deadlines set;
  • Ensure that invoicing fees and debt management is carried out in a proactive and timely manner;
  • Delegate day to day administration tasks to the administration team whilst retaining oversight, ensuring that tasks are being fully completed in a professional and timely manner keeping the client director fully informed;
  • Participate in business development opportunities, preparing new business proposals and attending business events as requested;
  • Demonstrate a strong communication ethos by leading effective communication and sharing technical knowledge;
  • Ensure that all client entity files are up to date and that Minutes and Meeting Notes have been drafted accurately with an appropriate level of detail;
  • Proactively keep an up-to-date awareness of current industry issues e.g., interest rate movements, changes in legislation i.e. Substance legislation; and

Your profile

  • Evidence of relevant experience in regulated finance or professional services, with the most recent position held in an Assistant Manager/Manager role;
  • Must be able to demonstrate sound organisation skills and supervisory experience;
  • Solid understanding of the business and markets applicable to the business;
  • Professional Qualification such as STEP, ICSA, or qualified by experience;
  • Solid IT technical skills; and
  • Drive personal Development using all the resources available to achieve success.
