Job Description

Responsible for managing pricing/estimating systems (Iquote) to configure and onboard facilities as well as manage standards within the system. This includes distributing workloads, fulfilling company goals for service level agreements, and providing training and performance reviews to ensure individual and department success.

Responsibilities

  • Plant Configuration and Onboarding:
    • Configuring, testing, and implementing of all equipment, characteristics, materials, and rules of use for each new facility
    • Ensure compatibility with existing configuration and existing facilities in shared database
    • Meet timelines for implementation, release, and go-live alongside broader project teams that span multiple departments
    • Test and confirm compatibility with additional downstream software, including Foundation Monarch, PrintFlow, Autocount, and reporting services
    • Training of new users on all estimating related implementation as new plants are configured and onboarded
    • Training of existing users on new equipment, characteristics, and/or materials added to software
    • New equipment configuration for existing plants; includes testing, implementation, and compatibility with all existing configuration
  • Collaboration and System Support:
    • Work directly with server-side IT on new patch release testing and implementation; coordinating downtime and testing schedule for Test and Live/Production environments and managing users through process
    • Work alongside cross-functional teams in other divisions of company for testing and implementation of changes
    • Provide troubleshooting support to pricing, production, and finance teams on topics including but not limited to: estimates, jobs, reporting, downstream sync issues, and training
    • Work with manufacturing personnel to determine performance standards for unusual features
    • Management of all standards for machines, labor, and materials through ongoing review; responding to change requests from pricing and production teams
    • Work with teams in estimating and production facilities to maintain changes to configuration, such as make-ready times, new materials, new capabilities, adjustments to costs, etc.
    • Must be able to bridge gaps between pricing and production in the shared environment to ensure favorable outcomes based on compromise
  • Identify and resolve problems/issues with existing estimates and specifications
  • Direct and guide team members on configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of configuration changes
  • Relay policies and procedures to the team
  • Manage staff workload, delegating and confirming tasks are handled timely and successfully

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Printing Technology or Business related field is preferred
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
  • A high degree of professionalism and ability to interface directly with all levels within Sales and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct and lead to meet deadlines and quote dates.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects under committed timelines.
  • Knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts; including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • PC and business software usage proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond to sensitive issues with professionalism.
  • Extensive manufacturing knowledge - encompassing multiple products, special features, and multiple methods of manufacturing

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $88,200 to $156,800/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
