About the Role: 
As Placement Manager, you will help Skill-ED graduates transition into meaningful employment by building employer partnerships, preparing students for recruitment, and driving successful placements. You will work closely with corporates, educational institutions, and internal teams to ensure students are job-ready and connected to the right opportunities. Success in this role will be measured by employer partnerships, placement outcomes, and student employability.

About the Program: 
Skill-Ed is a volunteer-powered initiative that equips young people aged 18–24 with essential 21st-century skills through free IT training, and soft-skills development. By bridging the growing skill gap, we aim to empower underprivileged youth and enhance their employability, opening doors to brighter futures.

Roles & Responsibilities: 
  • Identify and build relationships with potential corporate employers to recruit Bhumi's Skill-ED students.
  • Conduct placement workshops, mock interviews, and employability training with industry professionals to boost job readiness.
  • Understand students' career goals and guide them toward suitable job opportunities through mentorship and counseling. 
  • Organize placement drives, job fairs, and networking events to connect students with employers and industry experts.
  • Share regular placement reports with the org leadership and conduct market research to align training with emerging job roles.

Educational Qualification/Experience: 
  • Educational Degree :  Graduation / Post-Graduation
  • Relevant Experience(in years) :  3-5 Years in employer partnerships, talent acquisition, or employability programs.

Knowledge & Skill sets required:
  • String corporate relationship management
  • Knowledge of campus hiring and campus recruitment processes
  • Entrepreneurial and with a growth mindset
  • Ability to work in team and in a dynamic environment
  • Good communication
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Candidates with willingness to travel across South India will be preferred
Others: 
  • Scope : Full Time
  • Age Criteria : 25-40 Years
  • Reporting to :  Manager - Bhumi Clubs
  • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
  • Salary Range: INR 8 to 10 LPA (Based on candidate profile)
  • Location:  Chennai
  • Minimum Commitment (in years) : 2 Years


Skills Required

  • Graduation or post-graduation degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in employer partnerships, talent acquisition, or employability programs
