Our first-of-its-kind platform combines secure video conferencing with a collection of intuitive tools developed for conducting remote, in-person, and hybrid legal proceedings.

This position is fully remote and will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Create, prepare and maintain employee information Facilitate and manage all HR initiatives
  • Manage and complete all payroll initiatives
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation, off-sites and more
  • Create and the interview process
  • Manage all vacation, sick and PTO requests for team members
  • Lead inclusion, sustainment, retention, and career growth of staff
  • Innovate ways to retain the positives of in-person work in a fully remote setting. Use evidence-based decision-making to set policy
  • Responsible for employee evaluations, planning, and tracking
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal workplace laws

Required Experience

  • Experience leading HR/People Operations function for 100+ people
  • Bachelors in business, management or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Thorough knowledge of US and international employment laws and regulations

  • Ambitious, innovative, problem solver
  • Hands-on comfort with HR IT tools and data analysis.
  • Fast learner with excellent communication skills
  • Startup experience a plus
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

What We Do

Prevail is shaping a digital future with the legal industry’s first cloud-based testimony management platform. Prevail was designed by attorneys, for attorneys. It addresses longstanding gaps in the market for pre-trial evidentiary services: a dearth of innovation; the high cost and low quality of video; lagging expertise, training and sophistication.

The Prevail platform uses machine learning and other artificial intelligence technology to generate real-time transcripts. Users also have the ability to create bookmarks and tags, as well as clips that synchronize audio and video evidence with their text.

Ultimately, deep AI-driven analysis produces a rapid-fire transcript with an accuracy rate above 90 percent, with the accompanying exhibits centralized and ready to manage. Attorneys and clients can then collaborate on the Prevail platform - in the cloud, same space, same time.
