This position is fully remote and will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Create, prepare and maintain employee information Facilitate and manage all HR initiatives
  • Manage and complete all payroll initiatives
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation, off-sites and more
  • Create and the interview process
  • Manage all vacation, sick and PTO requests for team members
  • Lead inclusion, sustainment, retention, and career growth of staff
  • Innovate ways to retain the positives of in-person work in a fully remote setting. Use evidence-based decision-making to set policy
  • Responsible for employee evaluations, planning, and tracking
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal workplace laws

Required Experience

  • Experience leading HR/People Operations function for 100+ people
  • Bachelors in business, management or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Thorough knowledge of US and international employment laws and regulations

Ideal Candidate

  • Ambitious, innovative, problem solver
  • Hands-on comfort with HR IT tools and data analysis.
  • Fast learner with excellent communication skills
  • Startup experience a plus
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
