We are seeking an experienced Manager, Paid Media Performance, to join our Media & Creative Services team in Old Town Scottsdale. The ideal candidate is a seasoned expert in media planning and execution across digital advertising platforms, has experience managing a team of Media Specialists, and is an expert at executing performance-based media campaigns for clients across multiple verticals. In addition, an ideal candidate is experienced and skilled at setting a clear vision to help clients drive business growth and hit performance goals.

The Manager, Paid Media Performance, will focus on developing, managing, and monitoring client media programs and campaign performance, implementing media planning and buying strategies, communicating with other department heads, developing best practices, and building strong client relationships. This role also includes managing internal teams, motivating team members, setting expectations and goals, and providing training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present digital advertising proposals to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their business goals and industry landscape.
  • Actively monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and identify optimization opportunities to improve campaign results and ROI.
  • Manage strategy development and execution for complex marketing analysis disciplines, such as segmentation, attitudinal/motivational analysis, concept/copy testing, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, customer profitability analysis (lifetime value), media mix modeling, conversion attribution analysis, and ROI measurement.
  • Leverage 3rd party and syndicated digital research to benchmark trends and/or manage expectations of forecasted trends.
  • Keep senior management informed of key client opportunities, potential risks, and other key nuances that affect the health of the business.
  • Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Motivate, lead, and manage internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet client business objectives.
  • Facilitate developing and documenting best practices and frameworks to improve operational efficiencies within the team and the group.
  • Establish expectations and goals for the team on performance marketing thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of media campaign management experience in online/digital advertising
  • 5+ years of experience in interactive marketing or business consulting using data and information to drive specific targeting and marketing recommendations.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a management/leadership role
  • Expert knowledge of marketing analytics platforms, including Google Analytics and data visualization such as Tableau or Looker Studio
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising/media platforms including Google, Meta, and Microsoft; and channels including search, social, programmatic/display, and OTT
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, multivariant testing, and conversion rate optimization methodology is preferred.
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent writing skills, knowledge of proper grammar and spelling
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Adaptive to change and the ability to prioritize or seek support in prioritization
  • Able to work onsite at our headquarters in Old Town Scottsdale.
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field from an accredited university, and/or
  • Demonstrated skills knowledge and equivalent work experience.
