The Position
As our new Manager for Packaging Material Supply Planning, you will lead a team of 14 dedicated planning professionals. Working closely with the team, stakeholders, suppliers and manufacturing sites you will ensure inbound supply of primary packaging for all Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites around the world. This will be achieved by aligning demand and capacity, continuously optimising purchase processes and ultimately ensuring on-time delivery of materials to Novo Nordisk production sites.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure efficient daily operations in compliance with GMP and corporate standards, whilst optimising internal workflows.
  • Employ problem-solving to locate and eliminate root cause of an error securing working process, when needed.
  • Lead and participate actively in board meetings and KPI reporting.
  • Foster a climate of high well-being and development within the team and across related organisational departments.
  • Building and managing professional and collaborative relationships, demonstrating robustness and the ability to communicate information in a way that is accessible to relevant stakeholders.


You will become a member of a dedicated, trustful and ambitious management team reporting to the Senior Manager of ISM PACK. As a member of the Inbound Supply Management team, you will contribute to the successful performance and ongoing development of the department, through a close collaboration with your colleagues.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a people leader including performance management, team development, and leading others through change
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Planning
  • Operational understanding of manufacturing or operational workflows
  • Fluency in English.

Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
