Job Description

THE ROLE:

The Senior Manager, Creator Partnerships is responsible for recommending, negotiation & executing creator partnerships across AEGM brands, genres & IP. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining an internal creator network through sourcing, vetting, negotiation and management.  The role will execute & maintain partnerships to meet broader business’ goals like driving fandom – audience growth, engagement and heart score – or subscriptions through creator content strategy.

The role reports directly into the VP, Organic Social & Creator Partnerships and works closely with the VP to ensure strategic alignment between business goals & creator recommendations/activations. The Senior Manager manages the day-to-day relationship with creators – doing outreach, onboarding, ideation & optimizations with creators.

This individual will be the connective tissue between creators and AEGM.   They collaborate with Marketing, Ad Sales, StoryGround, Editorial, Digital Creative, Programming and PR teams to facilitate successful evergreen partnerships.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Senior Manager, Creator Partnerships

Creator Roster & Network Management

  • Build, curate, and continuously refresh an evergreen creator bench across tiers (nano, micro, macro, and hero talent) and content categories aligned to our brand portfolio businesses and audience segments.
  • Expand and evolve the existing ambassador program for priority brands and franchises, developing customized engagement strategies, strengthening creator relationships, and scaling the program to drive greater audience growth and advocacy.
  • Maintain creator database that tracks creator specialties, audience demographics, platform strengths, performance history, availability, and rate benchmarks — updated on a rolling basis.
  • Scout and recruit emerging talent proactively, going beyond standard lists and platform searches to surface creators with authentic audience relationships and high-potential brand affinity.
  • Own onboarding for new roster additions — including initial outreach, relationship establishment, and integration into our creator database and management systems.

Casting, Matching & Deployment

  • Serve as the internal casting resource for Marketing, Programming, PR, and Ad Sales/StoryGround (internal agency) teams — translating campaign and client briefs into specific creator recommendations.
  • Match creators to always-on and reactive content briefs based on audience fit, content style, platform behavior, and campaign objectives, minimizing cold sourcing timelines for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales and StoryGround on creator-led branded content offerings, integrating roster talent into sponsorship packages and advertiser pitches.
  • Flag creator availability and exclusivity conflicts across simultaneous activations to prevent scheduling or brand safety collisions.

Agency & External Partner Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with our agency partners including campaign execution oversight, casting direction, deliverable tracking, timeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Manage creator and agency budgets, negotiate rates, and optimize spend to maximize business impact and return on investment.
  • Review and approve agency casting recommendations; provide clear feedback on misalignment and identify alternatives from our internal bench where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to extend creator activations into sales-facing initiatives and proactively partner with the VP and StoryGround leads to develop revenue-generating opportunities.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign and creator-level performance across all activations  tracking engagement rate, reach, content quality, and deliverable compliance in real time.
  • Maintain and report on a consistent set of KPIs across the creator bench, using performance history to inform future casting decisions and benchmark rate negotiations.
  • Analyze trends across platforms, content formats, and audience behavior to surface actionable insights for the VP and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Apply learnings to continuously refine sourcing criteria, vetting standards, and casting logic — evolving the roster to stay ahead of platform shifts and audience expectations.

Creator Compliance, Contracting & Risk Management

  • Partner with Legal to manage creator contracting across all program types, including agreement requests, negotiations, reviews, and execution.
  • Collaborate with StoryGround and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute creator partnerships that align with client objectives, business goals, and brand standards.
  • Oversee creator agreements, ensuring clear terms related to deliverables, content rights, exclusivity, approvals, compensation, and disclosure requirements.
  • Own creator compliance and risk management across all partnerships, overseeing vetting, brand safety evaluations, policy adherence, and ongoing monitoring to identify and mitigate reputational, legal, and brand safety risks.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Legal, Sales, Marketing, Digital, and StoryGround teams, ensuring creator programs are executed efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with company objectives.

REQUIREMENTS: Senior Manager, Creator Partnerships

  • 5+ years of experience in creator management, influencer marketing or talent partnerships — ideally across both agency and media environments
  • A pulse on the creator ecosystem: who’s emerging, which platforms are shifting, and what makes a creator-brand pairing feel authentic versus forced
  • Proficient in a creator management platforms (Lefty or equivalent); comfortable pulling and presenting performance data to non-specialist stakeholders
  • Strong relationship builder who earns the trust of creators, agents, and internal partners alike — you’re the person talent actually wants to hear from
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activations, roster priorities, and agency relationships without losing quality or detail
  • Commercially aware: you understand how creator content ladders into revenue, branded content proposals, and client deliverables, and you speak both the creative and business sides fluently
  • Clear communicator who can translate creator strategy into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders and detailed briefs for external partners
  • Experience managing or contributing to an always-on or ambassador creator program (not solely campaign-based)
  • Familiarity with branded content, sponsorship packaging, or RFP development in a media or entertainment context
  • Hands-on experience with contract workflows and an understanding of standard deal structures, usage rights, and FTC compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of major platforms’ creator tools and analytics (TikTok Creator Marketplace, Meta Brand Collabs Manager, YouTube BrandConnect)
