Role:
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for onshore wind projects in Japan. This role will manage supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations, and support project execution across the full EPC lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and procurement of wind turbine components and related services.
- Support wind turbine selection and project due diligence activities.
- Manage RFQs, supplier evaluation, and price negotiations.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract management with OEMs and vendors.
- Manage key contracts (e.g., EWA, TSA, LTSA, SAA) and logistics agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams across Technical, EPC, Legal, and Finance.
- Support project financing and technical due diligence processes.
- Establish O&M-related procurement structures prior to handover.
- Identify and manage procurement risks.
- Ensure NDA implementation with suppliers.
Pre-requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of procurement experience in renewable energy or infrastructure projects
- Strong supplier sourcing and vendor negotiation experience
- Contract management and cost optimization capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Professional communication skills
- Business-level English (Japanese and Chinese is a plus)
