What you will do:
- Oversee the Front Desk and Medical Secretary Team’s day-to-day functions at UCA’s clinic, assisting with those duties as necessary
- Field questions from patients and route them to the appropriate person/department
- Verify that Team properly completes registration, insurance verification, and check-in process, handling the most complex cases
- Ensure Team balances batches, superbills, and deposits are accurate
- Conduct new Team Member training
- Act is liaison between clinical and clerical positions
What type of experience do you need?
- At least three (3) years of healthcare clerical experience, preferably at a front desk or as a Medical Secretary
- Prior supervisory experience or experience leading Teams to success
- Must be knowledgeable in third party payor systems and practices
