The Manager of Policyholder Services is a client-facing business leader responsible for overseeing back-office transaction processes, projects, remediations, and business initiatives. This role demands extensive experience in the life insurance industry, strong knowledge of systems and workflows, and exceptional client support capabilities. The manager ensures efficient, compliant operations while providing guidance to internal teams and delivering exceptional service to customers.
Essential Job Functions:

Operational Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day business process transactions to meet contractual turnaround times and quality service levels.
- Lead and mentor onshore and offshore teams of senior analysts and analysts, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

Client and Compliance Management:
- Address escalations, complex research scenarios, and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client standards.
- Actively manage C-level negotiations, fostering strong relationships and aligning services with client expectations.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute process-related strategies aligned with business goals.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management and clients.

Process Improvement and Leadership:
- Evaluate and refine business processes to gain efficiencies, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Provide operational leadership for strategic projects, including system upgrades and process changes.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, fostering strong partnerships and communication.

Budget and Vendor Management:
- Contribute to budget development, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring contract specifications and delivery expectations are met.
Experience and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the life insurance industry, with demonstrated leadership in managing teams and operations.
- Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams.

Certifications and Skills:
- FINRA Series 26 certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle complex client needs, operational strategies, and C-level contract negotiations.
- Expertise in developing and managing implementation plans, budgets, and work schedules.
- Strong skills in performance analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

Leadership:
- Experience in hiring, training, and evaluating employees to optimize team performance.
- Capability to address performance issues and manage personnel actions, including promotions and salary adjustments.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,800.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
