Position: Manager II, Product Management
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field and 2 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Data analysis on data from simple/complex information systems like ETL processes, databases, and dashboards utilizing large datasets on different platforms and technologies like Power BI/Tableau; Designing and implementing technology-based solutions like web applications, reports, dashboards, and visualization; Developing project plans, roadmaps, and schedules and tracking execution as per product development lifecycle; Managing multi-phased, complex projects, and tracking KPI’s including scope, schedules, budgets, and resources; Analyzing business specifications and existing process/data flows using tools (Visio, Lucid Charts, and Draw.io) and advising on designing future flows for complex information systems; Designing user experience and testing technology-based solutions like web applications, reports, dashboards, and visualization; Go-to-market strategies and tracking user adoption; Advanced capabilities with industry-standard information radiators and project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, MS TFS, and DevOps); Business process engineering utilizing lean principles to improve efficiency and advising when creating technological solutions; Data Science, Machine Intelligence, AI and Automation Concepts; and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), collaboration tools, mainstream project management, budget management, schedule management, resource and capacity planning, change management, security compliance as per enterprise and industry standard processes.
