Position: Manager II, Product Management
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products. Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features. Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience OR 4 years of experience in product management, project management, management consulting, retail or eCommerce business functions, or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to generate intuitive business reports and critical metrics; data visualization tools including ThoughtSpot and Tableau to develop score cards, pin boards, charts, and reports and generate insights; writing complex software codes using SQL queries to combine large volumes of data from multiple data sources for reports and dashboard generation; writing Business and software functional specification documents; writing SQL and Hive queries on MS SQL server and Hadoop to design tables, manipulate data, control the data access and create restricted views; computing and querying data using Hive on Hadoop Server to build, publish and manage dashboards on a data visualization tool, Tableau; creating Product roadmaps using Confluence tools; generating complex data models and data flow diagrams using data modelling tools to feed autonomously to Extract Transform Load (ETL) data pipelines; writing Product and Data requirements leading to Epics, features and user stories creation and management using JIRA; leading multiple scrum teams using SAFe methodology; and translating business insights into data flows and prioritizing cross functional program and Epics and Manage business strategy using MS Planner and confluence.
