Position Summary
Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Manager for Integrated Management and Analytics Group. The role involves developing, revise/update, overseeing and implementing various aspects of HSSE management System within the organization, projects and operation. The HSSE Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, security and environmental regulations, and internal Vena Energy HSSE MS requirements in promoting a strong safety culture and driving a continuous improvements. The specific scope of responsibilities may vary depending on the actual Projects and Conditions of the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
Key Responsibilities
1. HSSE Management System
Lead the establishment, enhancement and implementation of Japan Vena Energy HSSE Management System in all Project Phase from Early Development to Operate and Decommisoning.
Lead the compliance assurance with local regulations and industry best practise and provide feedback and recommendation to Head of HSSE as required.
2. HSSE Technical Advisor for Project and Operation
- Provide guidance and HSSE technical advice to relevant departments in the area of Project HSSE deliverables for all Project phases from early development to operate
3. HSSE Competency Management
Lead the development and enhancement of people HSSE competency across the Organization
Identify, monitor and execute required HSSE training and education programs
4. HSSE Performance Monitoring
Lead the reporting and monitoring process of HSSE Performance KPI data to Management and Regional Team that are relevant, consistent, accurate for consolidation internally and public disclosure
Verify that all submitted data in available platform are accurate, complete and data quality have been reviewed and assessed
Focus on promoting continuous improvement by analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing measures to enhance HSSE performance
5. HSSE Risk Management
Lead the establishment, enhancement and implementation of comprehensive HSSE Risk Management process for all Project phases from early development to operate
Lead, facilitate, execute necessary Risk study and Workshop for applicable project phases (i.e., HAZID, HAZOP, etc)
6. Contractor HSSE Management
Lead the establishment, enhancement the implementation of Contractor HSSE Management for all relevant Vena Energy contracted activities
Verify contractor evaluation scoring result as per internal to ensure quality assessment and result
Liase with relevant parties to ensure quality implementation (i.e., Legal, Commercial, PM, CM, etc)
7. Liaises with Stakeholders
Liaison and coordination between related work across contractors in HSSE matters.
Follow up HSSE related matters on each project supporting relevant department..
Lead HSSE Due Diligence Process and Review Control for existing and developing Assests
Liase with Regional Team on relevant HSSE matters
8. Others
Support Head and other Manager within HSSE Department in HSSE related matters as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Occupational health or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
(Good to have)
Master Degree on Occupational health or Environmental Engineering or equivalent
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years work experience in HSSE related construction Project or Operation
(Good to have)
- Experienced on the Power Plant operation and development.

Good understanding on Project Phase HSSE deliverables
Good understanding on the event investigation
Excellent reporting skill in English and Japanese

- Poses OHSAS 18001/14001 certification
Database management using android or other user friendly software skill
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Leverage the full range of Microsoft Office 365 tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, Power BI to organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
Utilize advanced features, such as PivotTables, conditional formatting, and formulas in Excel, depth data analysis
