Job Description

About the role:  

The HR PMO is responsible for enabling the execution of the transformational HR initiatives. The team oversees a diverse portfolio of strategic HR initiatives, ensuring alignment across HR COEs, leadership, and key stakeholders The HR PMO drives governance, portfolio management, organizational readiness, and execution excellence for initiatives that shape the future workforce and employee experience. The team serves as a catalyst for transformation, bringing structure, transparency, and accountability to some of the organization's most critical people-related investments and strategic priorities. 

Responsibilities of the Role: 

  • Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams delivering high-impact HR process transformation initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution against scope, timeline, budget, and intended business outcomes. 

  • Translate enterprise priorities and stakeholder needs into clearly defined program scope, strategic objectives, success measures, and deliverables. 

  • Develop and govern integrated project plans, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and resource strategies to enable effective execution and informed decision-making. 

  • Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, anticipate adoption risks, and shape targeted change and mitigation strategies that sustain business outcomes. 

  • Drive alignment across HR functions to ensure strategies, investments, and initiatives advance Invesco’s enterprise priorities and deliver measurable value. 

  • Champion AI fluency across HR by identifying and scaling responsible, high-value use cases, enabling teams to apply AI effectively, and embedding human judgment, appropriate governance, and continuous learning into new ways of working. 

  • Establish performance measures and reporting disciplines to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, surface risks and insights, and demonstrate the value delivered by programs and initiatives. 

Requirements of the Role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • 6+ years of experience in Project/Program Management 

  • Experience with complex multi-dimensional programs and communications 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional programs 

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions; coupled with strong data visualization skills to effectively communicate recommendations by presenting complex concepts/ideas in concise, easy-to-understand terms to senior leadership. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Prior experience in financial services. 

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
