About the job:
As a member of the People Operations team, the Manager of HR Operations supports and leads processes related to OppFi’s HR philosophy and correlated policies and processes. The Manager of HR Operations oversees the successful execution of essential HR functions, processes, and technologies to drive an efficient and optimal employee experience while ensuring all HR programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This position leads and supports the recruiting, talent management, facilities, physical mail, and event planning functions and helps ensure processes in these areas are efficient and compliant, automation is prioritized, and the systems and external support/consultants used in support of these functions are maximized to achieve departmental and organizational goals and expected outcomes.

- Develop, deploy and monitor procedures that ensure the most positive employee experience with HR matters, while also ensuring the organization's interest are equally considered.
- Manage the recruiting function by leading internal and external recruiters in the most effective manner possible to find and attract the best talent for the organization's needs.
- Lead HR Operational efforts related to streamlining, tracking and improving the effectiveness of OppFi's Recruiting, Onboarding, Promotion, Lateral Transfer and Offboarding process across the HRIS, ATS and any other impacted system.
- Assist with maintaining and auditing personnel data within UKG and other tools (i.e. data entry, report drafting and database maintenance).
- Partner with all aspects of the People Team to design, deploy and enhance an overall People Team Dashboard to assist with team analytics, sharing meaningful reports with the SLT, defining/measuring success, and other reporting needs.
- Identify and implement changes to ensure all current and future People Operations Vendors are aligned with and supportive of the organization's people related needs in the most effective manner possible.
- Track, monitor, and manage HR related projects ensuring the overall goals of the team are met while also appropriately allocating and prioritizing resources to ensure all BAU activities are also achieved.
- Oversee and ensure facilities and physical mail needs of the organization are met.
- Oversee company-wide and departmental event planning activities supported by the People Team.
- Partner with the SLT to identify skill development/training needs unique to each area (excluding Operations), and then either partner with vendors, design custom training programs, or some combination of both approaches to effectively meet these needs.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master's Degree preferred in a relevant field).
- Strong experience in designing and evolving human resources programs including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, promotions and lateral transfers.
- Experience in providing consultation to all levels of the organization regarding processes involving human resources and in support of organizational processes and policies.
- Working knowledge and experience in recruitment and management of third-party and vendor relationships.
- Above average knowledge, experience, and understanding of technologies, systems, and applications used in support of automation of tasks, workflows, and processes of People Operations and the employee life-cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong technical analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to coach, support, and inspire a team to maximize performance and accuracy.
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and takes a proactive approach.
Total Rewards and Benefits:
The starting base salary for this position is $102,400 per year. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations. The total compensation package includes eligibility and potential for performance-based bonuses as well as equity grants dependent upon the role and job level.
