The Position
This role sits in the Clinical Data Sciences and Evidence (CDSE) Division. It plays an important role in supporting the evidence generation plan for the organization by actively leading and executing economic modeling projects.
Relationships
This position reports to the Sr. Director, HEOR Modeling.
The role works alongside with other colleagues in the Modeling team and HEOR teams to execute HEOR modeling projects.
Essential Functions
- Support the team leads in assigned projects by creating draft Requests for Proposal (RFPs), reviewing vendor proposals, managing project communication, budget, timelines, and deliverables
- Lead the Mexico resources to conduct model QCs and coordinate the QC feedback with vendors for version updates
- Work closely with the HEOR teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables, and execution within timeline and budget
- Oversee contract management, budget allocation, invoice processing, and timeline adherence
- Engage in and lead communications with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate across functions to communicate project status and continuously adjust work priorities

Physical Requirements
10% overnight travel required. On-site: at least 3 days/week.
Qualifications
- PhD in economics, health economics, statistics, biostatistics, public health or related is required
- 2+ years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, pricing, reimbursement, and/or portfolio analysis is required
- Expertise in HEOR model methodology: decision tree, Markov model, patient level simulation (microsimulation) model, and model simulations
- Expertise in predictive model development and simulations
- General knowledge in conducting health economics analysis, health services research studies, real world research and the evaluation of health care interventions
- Good vendor management skills: communication, contracting, invoicing, payment, timeline management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Hands-on modeling experience is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional team decision making within a matrix organization
