The position
As the Manager of Group Reporting & Insights you will:

  • Lead a team of 9 highly talented employees in Denmark and 4 indirect reports in Bangalore, India
  • Collaborate closely with peers and colleagues across the value chain in different EVP areas, to secure strong financial management of Novo Nordisk
  • Set direction for the team and ensure continuous focus on personal development
  • Act as a finance partner to senior stakeholders across Novo Nordisk
  • Deliver high impact and value to the organisation, and drive the ambition of being the best finance function in the global pharma industry


Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can tick off most of the following qualifications:

  • Hold a master's degree within business or economics
  • Have at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience, and exposure to
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills from working in various functional areas, and preferably a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in leading and managing people, as an advantage
  • Proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders and effectively drive own agenda independently

You have a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in comprehending the business dynamics behind the numbers. Additionally, you possess excellent prioritizing skills, enabling you to set clear directions and make definite, informed choices.

About the department
The Group Reporting and Insights team is responsible for the financial management of the Novo Nordisk Group supporting key decisions together with the CVP of Group Finance and provide financial and strategic analysis and insights to the SVP of Business Finance, the CFO and the Executive Management. Additionally, the team is responsible for driving the Corporate financial processes such as Monthly Management Reporting, Budgets, Enterprise Risk Management, and Quarterly closing processes.
