Manager, FP&A

What is the Role:

The Manager/Sr. Manager of FP&A will be responsible for managing a variety of financial analysis projects, supporting the creation and scaling of new subsidiaries, and providing in-depth financial support across multiple aspects of DCG and its investments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and a deep understanding of crypto and fintech landscapes. This position will report directly to the Head of FP&A.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Primarily support financial analysis efforts across the company and its subsidiaries/new ventures, working closely with various teams to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee financial planning efforts across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analyses.
• Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation and profitability analyses and present findings to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development, scaling, and operational setup of new subsidiaries.
• Manage and track ongoing financial projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met with precision.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis to senior leadership, including the CFO and Head of FP&A.
• Support ad-hoc strategic projects including M&A, capital raising, and capital allocation.
• Ensure strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with various departments (e.g., investments, operations, and technology) to support business objectives and resolve complex financial matters.
• Stay current with industry trends, specifically within the crypto and fintech sectors, to provide informed financial guidance.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A, or related roles. Focus on venture capital, fintech, or crypto is a plus.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills and proven experience in overseeing financial operations and business performance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to addressing complex financial challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, particularly in multi-faceted, fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and data analysis tools. Experience with blockchain/crypto financial platforms is a plus.
