General Description:

The Manager, Forecasting Analytics will primarily focus on secondary data analytics to inform forecast assumptions and business strategy with the goal of positioning Brukinsa as the leading BTKi and ensuring the successful launch of Tevimbra in the US and Canada. 

This role requires effective and collaborative partnership with the North America commercial teams to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations on a variety of business strategic imperatives. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of disease and therapeutic areas while staying on top of market dynamics.
  • Owning NPS and market share KPI calculations and defining business rules.
  • Tracking brand performance and conducting in-depth analyses to support business reviews (QBR, CMAC, situational analysis, etc).
  • Providing deep-dive analyses that inform forecast assumptions and business decisions.

Successful delivery of these responsibilities will involve proactive collaboration with teams across Commercial Management, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and other stakeholders within the organization. As part of the COBA Business Analytics team, this role will work closely with forecasting, primary market research, sales/IC analytics, and market access analytics teams on a daily basis. It is essential that all COBA team members collaborate closely and openly, often sharing functional expertise to advance market insights and improve business outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Generate analytics-based insights to support forecasting and business decisions by leveraging various pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., longitudinal patient data, HCP prescribing data, payor data) and focusing on key metrics (e.g., new patient starts, market share, class utilization, persistency and compliance, etc). 
  • Integrate and validate secondary data analytics with primary research, syndicated reports, analyst reports and earning release) to draw inferences and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to communicate project objectives, action plan, analysis results and obtain alignment from key stakeholders
  • Provide accurate and data-driven analyses to commercial leadership, delivering timely and value-added insights .
  • Translate unstructured business requests into structured analytical projects, resulting in high-quality and actionable deliverables.
  • Leverage expertise in large data sets to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Synthesize complex data analyses into a coherent narrative that translates insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Effectively handle planned and ad hoc analytics requests, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Identify and frame key business issues needing further research and align relevant team members on the objectives, approaches, and recommendations.
  • Identify appropriate external partners while considering resources, timing, and overall project goals.
  • Apply basic consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem-solving, hypothesis generation, data analyses, Impactful presentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Act with speed, agility, and accountability, while adapting to evolving business needs.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:

  • BA or BS degree or higher, preferred in business, economics, biological, life sciences or medical sciences. 
  • A minimum of 4 year to 6's industry experience.
  • 3+ years progressive experience in consulting and commercial analytics.
  • Biotech or pharmaceutical US marketplace launch experience required.
  • Oncology launch experience, especially in hematology, strongly preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Hands on, in-depth understanding of secondary data sources (e.g., syndicated sales, longitudinal patient-level data, payer data).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate the data and learning into actionable recommendations for business growth.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and excellence in project management, including effectively managing multiple projects/priorities
  • Experience managing vendors and consultants.
  • Ability to adapt plans and strategies as new market findings arise.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize findings and deliver a clear overview of recommendations.

 Supervisory Responsibilities: NA

Travel: 15% - 20%

Computer Skills: PC, including MS Office Suite

Salary Range: $112,900.00 - $152,900.00 annually

Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
