KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business partnership
Act as finance partner to commercial areas — influencing strategic decisions through insight, not just reporting
Deliver executive presentations to Mexico Lead Team, CFO, and GM with clear financial storytelling; highlight risks, opportunities, and propose solutions
Simplify complex financial data into clear narratives for senior leaders
Combine FP&A expertise with proactive, value-driven business partnership
Manage and develop a team of 1–2 people
Financial planning
Own the full OPEX cycle — budget, forecast, closing — and deliver variance analysis with actionable recommendations
Lead short- and long-term financial projection processes aligned to aspirational business objectives
Develop business cases for product launches and commercial strategies, incorporating relevant P&L to inform decision-making
Deliver financial partnership to business units, brand teams, and leadership by overseeing budget tracking for sales and operational expenditures, and collaborating with HR to monitor personnel-related expenses
Drive profitability analysis and assess trade-offs to enable the affiliate to achieve its targeted performance objectives
Respond to ad-hoc financial queries from senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Innovation & efficiency
Lead finance process automation and embed AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot) into planning, analysis, and reporting routines — reducing manual workload and elevating analytical capacity
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Experience & education
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics — MBA a plus
+5 years in strategic corporate FP&A at a multinational company
Advanced English required
Exposure to commercial or sales finance a plus
Technical skills
Advanced Excel — financial modeling, automation, scenario analysis
AI tools applied to finance (Claude, Copilot, or similar)
Strong P&L and revenue analytics
SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate
