Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop small team of financial analysts providing financial support, reporting and consultation to Agency and Specialty Lines leadership

  • Design and build management reporting to measure performance against strategic goals and communicate this strategy to product and finance leadership

  • Contribute to the innovation of current financial models, build new models and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of forecasts

  • Lead and monitor financial policies and practices to ensure accurate and timely financial and operational reporting

  • Partner across functions to incorporate strategic assumptions into annual planning, budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Advise and serve as a business partner to Agency and Specialty Lines leadership and finance leadership team on business strategy, financial strategy and business performance

  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes and methodologies

  • Evaluate channel economics and drive investment analytics on expected vs. actual outcomes to continuously improve decision making and assumption drivers

  • Provide leadership; fostering alignment, transparency and talent development across multiple teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

  • 3+ years experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting or similar field

  • Prior management of analytical associates preferred

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical, mathematical, and market research modeling techniques; utilized to predict future outcomes for forecasting and planning purposes

This position is a hybrid role, on site 3 days per week in the Chicago, IL location.
