- Monitor cash positions and optimize cash utilization across the organization.
- Develop, review, and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Review and approve cash allocation reports, treasury transactions, and investment activities.
- Establish and implement treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Design and maintain treasury governance frameworks that support compliance and financial risk management.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.
- Negotiate banking facilities, fee structures, credit lines, and treasury services.
- Monitor compliance with loan agreements, lender covenants, and credit administration requirements.
- Develop and execute funding strategies to support business expansion and capital requirements.
- Manage debt facilities, refinancing initiatives, and financing arrangements.
- Evaluate and oversee investment opportunities while ensuring capital preservation and liquidity.
- Conduct financial risk assessments covering foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
- Implement strategies to mitigate treasury-related financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, treasury policies, and audit standards.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate treasury documentation and controls.
- Oversee accounts receivable and working capital initiatives to improve cash collection and cash conversion cycles.
- Prepare and present treasury reports, cash flow analyses, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Oversee debt modeling, insurance programs, treasury expenses, and earnings forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to automate and digitalize treasury processes and reporting.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop treasury team members to build a high-performing treasury function.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on liquidity, funding, capital structure, and financial risk management.
- Support investor confidence, regulatory compliance, and joint venture financial requirements through strong treasury governance.
