About the team:
The eCommerce Marketplace FP&A team leads financial planning and performance management for Walmart’s third-party platform. Collaborating with Marketplace, Merchandising, Operations, Product, and Supply Chain teams, the group evaluates seller performance, optimizes unit economics, and guides strategic investments. The team connects key marketplace growth drivers—such as GMV, take rate, seller onboarding, and fulfillment through Walmart Fulfillment Services—to financial outcomes. Their efforts support profitable growth, enhance seller experience, and strengthen customer value across Walmart’s digital ecosystem, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead FP&A activities, including month-end close, driver-based forecasting and budgeting.
- Partner with Accounting and business teams to ensure accurate reporting, validate accruals, and analyze expenses.
- Own driver-based financial forecasts, incorporating actual performance, business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze actuals vs. forecast and budget, translating variances into actionable business insights.
- Develop financial models, management reporting, and executive presentations to support strategic decisions.
- Report financial performance, outlook, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and drive effective resource allocation.
