The Manager, Events Sponsorships will support the Director, Event Sponsorships and Directors of the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and Charleston, as well as the Sales & Marketing teams on overall sponsor management. This position will provide support across the event marketing team as needed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Director of Events Sponsorships with presale requests and sponsorship acquisition.

  • Implement, oversee, and manage all activations for advertising partners and sponsors. This includes coordinating pre-event logistical and operational details, as well as onsite event management.

  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and create compelling event marketing proposals, proactively and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing teams in the development of event marketing tools, including templates, one-sheets, and general presentations.

  • Coordinate with the event marketing team to seamlessly integrate sponsors into various events.

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, sponsorship management, or special events, ideally at a media company.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient writing skills, with an understanding of marketing principles

  • Effective project management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
