Job Responsibilities:

For our IT department in Graz, Austria, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager Digitalization & Data Management. As part of IT Governance & Digitalization, you will leverage data as a key production factor to drive competitiveness and create measurable business value. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 10 employees and take end-to-end responsibility for Digitalization, Data Management, and AI, driving a scalable, data-driven organization. This role plays a key part in unlocking business value and establishing a sustainable and scalable data foundation across the organization.

Your Tasks

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 employees, including resource planning and allocation
  • Ensure AI governance, compliance, and provide related services across the organization
  • Drive digitalization initiatives in analytics, automation, and AI/ML to create measurable business value
  • Ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of data platforms while continuously improving performance
  • Establish and enforce data management standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Define and drive the strategic direction of Digitalization & Data Management, including transformation initiatives, organizational alignment, budget responsibility, and collaboration with business and corporate functions

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in IT, digitalization, or data-related roles, including leadership experience
  • Strong strategic mindset with a clear understanding of data as a business value driver and production factor
  • Solid knowledge of digitalization technologies (analytics, automation, AI/ML) and modern data platforms/cloud ecosystems
  • Experience in data management, governance, and driving transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, IT, and corporate functions; fluent in German and English
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the responsibilities of the role, your actual salary will be agreed individually. For this position, a minimum annual gross salary of €65,000 (based on 38.5 hours per week) is foreseen.
