Job Description

Intelerad is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Content & Communications to lead the content creation team and oversee all media and public relations efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, ensuring consistent brand messaging as well as managing relationships with our PR agency and media outlets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in content strategy, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our healthcare audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Development
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the content creation team, ensuring content aligns with business objectives, brand voice, and resonates with the healthcare imaging audience.
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of a cohesive content strategy across multiple platforms, including blogs, case studies, white papers, social media, and other digital and print channels.
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to produce targeted content that drives engagement, leads, and business growth.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging topics, and best practices to guide innovative content ideas.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the content creation team (made up of a Digital Content Specialist, Sr. Content Specialist, Graphic Designer and Content Writer), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Manage the workflow, deadlines, and output of the team, ensuring timely and high-quality content production.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
  • Media & Public Relations Management
    • Manage and execute Intelerad’s media and public relations strategy, working closely with PR agencies, industry publications, and journalists.
    • Partner with our PR agency to build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure coverage that enhances the company’s reputation and visibility.
    • Manage our PR agency’s work to write, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and other external communications materials.
    • Act as the company’s spokesperson as needed and ensure that all media interactions are aligned with corporate messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with leadership to ensure alignment between content, communications, and overall marketing strategies.
    • Partner with internal teams to amplify content and communications efforts that support product launches, partnerships, and other key initiatives.
    • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to manage outsourced content and PR initiatives when necessary.
  • Metrics & Performance Analysis
    • Measure and analyze the performance of content and communications efforts to continuously optimize strategies.
    • Provide regular reports on content effectiveness, media coverage, and other key performance indicators to senior leadership.
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in content management, communications, or public relations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience in managing content teams and developing content strategies.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Strong knowledge of media and PR practices, with established media relationships a plus.
    • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and analytics tools.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership and team development skills.
    • Experience in Healthcare software preferred


Travel Requirements: 5% travel required, location varies nationally and internationally
