The technology reduces the shipping weight of bottled beverages by 96% and uses 84% less plastic. Cirkul offers its customers 100+ unique flavors, all with no sugar, zero calories, no artificial colors, and a range of functional enhancements online, at Walmart, and other retailers across the United States. Hundreds of thousands of consumers are using Cirkul to transition from single-use plastics and sugar-filled beverages to healthier, better-for-you alternatives.

What is this role? 

The Manager of Consumer Insights will be a strategic and influential leader, driving consumer-centricity throughout the organization. This role requires a highly motivated, collaborative individual with a proven ability to translate business objectives into impactful research plans. You’ll bring a deep understanding of market and consumer dynamics, uncovering trends, unmet needs, and growth opportunities. By transforming research into data-driven insights, this leader will influence product development, brand strategy, and key business decisions. This is a high-impact role with direct contributions to Cirkul’s continued growth.

What does an average day look like?

Driving Results: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of insights initiatives—both qualitative and quantitative—to deliver high-quality research that uncovers actionable insights and fuels strategic decisions across product innovation, brand marketing, and consumer experience.

Taking Ownership: Own the full research process—from designing surveys and discussion guides to managing vendors and delivering compelling, insight-rich reports and presentations. Ensure rigor and excellence in every stage of execution.

Making Decisions: Utilize primary and secondary research, consumer data, and statistical analysis to assess market trends, guide strategic direction, and identify opportunities that align with business objectives.

Cultivating Relationships: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Analytics, and Product Development, to integrate consumer insights into strategic planning and execution. Effectively manage agency and vendor partnerships.

Instilling Trust: Deliver trustworthy, data-backed recommendations and foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning. Communicate complex findings with clarity and transparency to stakeholders at all levels.

Customer Focus: Stay ahead of evolving consumer behaviors, preferences, and lifestyle trends to keep Cirkul at the forefront of innovation in hydration. Prioritize consumer needs and voices in every research endeavor

What background should you have? 

  • 5–7 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or strategic marketing; CPG experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Research, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead research projects end-to-end and synthesize findings into strategic insights
  • Deep knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Skilled in survey design, questionnaire development, data analysis, and storytelling
  • Experience with syndicated data platforms like Numerator, Nielsen, or Circana
  • Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with dashboard and reporting tools (e.g., infographics, data visualization)
  • Experience moderating qualitative research is a plus
