Job Description:

The Manager, Compensation Advisory reports to the Associate Vice President, Compensation Advisory and plays a key role in delivering strategic compensation support to assigned portfolios within TD Securities (TDS).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and deliver impact across the following areas:

  • Strategic Advisory & Business Alignment: Build a strong understanding of business priorities to ensure compensation programs align with enterprise principles; provide insight-driven advice to senior leaders on complex compensation matters

  • End-to-End Compensation Management: Lead day-to-day advisory for the assigned portfolio, including complex reviews and executive support; assess incentive plan effectiveness to ensure alignment with performance, risk, and strategy

  • Market Intelligence & Competitiveness: Monitor market trends and competitive practices to inform compensation design and positioning; support pay decisions that are competitive, equitable, and aligned to talent priorities

  • Year-End Compensation & Governance: Lead year-end compensation processes for the assigned portfolio, including analysis, decision support, and governance; provide guidance on complex scenarios and ensure consistent application of frameworks and policies

  • Analytics, Insights & Communication: Deliver high-quality analysis and concise, executive-ready insights to support business decision-making

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance compensation practices, processes, and tools; contribute to advancing the compensation advisory model

  • Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead and support compensation initiatives across stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination and timely delivery

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Compensation experience supporting Capital Markets preferred

  • Proven experience advising Business Partners and other stakeholders on compensation policy and practices

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong consulting and problem-solving capabilities

  • Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise messaging

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong project management skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity in a matrixed organization

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
