Job Description Summary:
Managers in the Client Reporting Group are responsible for all aspects of overseeing a team of analysts and associates including operational oversight, performance management, training and development, recruiting, workload assignments, forward planning, process improvement, internal groups and client relationship management, and issue resolution. Primary groups the Client Reporting Group interacts with include Client Data, Portfolio Implementation, internal Investment Teams, Investment Operations, IT, and external clients.Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Serve as the direct manager of 15-20 analysts/associates across varying tenure and skill levels; includes communicating expectations, discussing challenges and development opportunities, and assessing and managing performance.
- Determine workload assignments across associate pool in line with individual competencies and business needs to drive team productivity, timeliness, and quality service level agreements.
- Drive and oversee key department operations including the execution of core Reporting tasks and the adherence to policies and procedures
- Collaborate closely with department head and other operations managers to improve cross team execution, alignment, and partnership.
- Oversee training programs within the department to ensure content and structure evolve with the group
- Apply a proactive and collaborative approach to deriving solutions to client specific requests/needs and resolving internal and client issues under time sensitive and often high-pressure circumstances.
- Approach communications with stakeholders professionally and with a customer service mindset.
- Participate in the interviewing and hiring process and strategy to obtain top talent in the department.
- Own a range of department wide projects, process, and/or initiatives on behalf of broader management team.
- Lead a culture that promotes high engagement, is responsive to employee needs, and promotes an open innovative workplace.
Qualifications
- BA/BS with 4-10 years of professional work experience; experience within the investments industry, specifically within performance or client reporting, a plus
- Experience managing a team and engaging with employees across varying tenure and hierarchical levels.
- Skill in serving high profile clients and ability to represent the firm in a highly professional manner.
- Demonstrate judgment, integrity, initiative and leadership capabilities. Ability to operate with discretion is essential.
- Proven project management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and areas of the firm, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail and quality

143400In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
