Ready to take your career global?
At Global Payments, you can turn ambitious product strategies into outcomes that make a difference for clients, our business, and the payments ecosystem. As a Manager Business Partnerships, you’ll own the delivery of strategic product roadmaps and create the visibility, governance, and momentum needed to bring products to market successfully.
What you’ll own
- Lead strategic product roadmap delivery to turn business priorities into measurable outcomes, while keeping budgets, timelines, and strategic goals on track.
- Own delivery health and performance across your assigned products or portfolio, using financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and delivery metrics to identify opportunities, address risks, and protect successful outcomes.
- Shape agile product delivery practices by creating tools, processes, and ways of working that improve efficiency, close capability gaps, and strengthen business performance.
- Create clear visibility for senior leaders and stakeholders by establishing reporting, governance, and communication practices that bring risks, opportunities, decisions, progress, scope, schedules, and budgets into focus.
- Drive proactive risk and issue resolution by identifying threats to delivery early, creating effective mitigation strategies, and seeing critical issues through to complete resolution.
- Build delivery capacity and prioritization across the product portfolio by managing work intake and capacity planning, creating the conditions for teams to focus on the priorities that deliver the greatest business and client impact.
- Strengthen product governance and execution by improving policies, processes, and controls that create greater consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across product delivery.
- Build trusted relationships across the organization to align teams around strategic objectives, influence decisions, and create accountability for delivering portfolio outcomes.
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field from an accredited university, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Typically 10 or more years of experience in product delivery or consulting, with a strong track record in product development or management within an agile environment. Experience with cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) products is preferred.
- Strong project and leadership experience, ideally within the payments industry, with a clear understanding of the payments ecosystem.
- Proven ability to define and monitor KPIs with business partners and use data to drive decisions, improve performance, and deliver strategic outcomes.
- Strong risk management, governance, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the confidence to influence internal and external stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
- The ability to lead through complexity, set direction for critical initiatives, and make sound decisions with broad ownership for objectives and outcomes.
It’s a bonus if you have
- Experience within the payments, credit card processing or financial services industry.
- A Master’s degree, Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, partnership management experience, or knowledge of clearinghouse online and batch processes would be valuable.
